Order and procedures:

Step 1: Agencies, organizations in Vietnam access the electronic visa web portal of Vietnam Immigration Department (domain name in Vietnamese: “https://www.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn" in English "https://www.immigration.gov.vn"), use the provided e-account to log in and send electronic visa application. 

Step 2: To fill in the foreigner's information, upload a portrait photo and passport bio-data page. After completing this step, the system will provide agencies or organizations with an electronic registration code.

Step 3: Use electronic signature to confirm your application.

Step 4: Pay visa fees to the account on electronic visa web portal.

Step 5: Get results

+ The agency, organization use the electronic registration code to check the result on the electronic visa web portal, in case an electronic visa is granted, the foreigner will receive a registration code to print the electronic visa.

+ Working time: 24 hours / 07 days.

- Application submission: Via the electronic visa web portal.  

- Contents and number of dossiers: complete electronic visa application conforming to Form No. 01 promulgated with Decree No. 07/2017 / NĐ-CP dated January 25^th, 2017 of the Government, on the electronic visa web portal.  

- Processing time: Within 03 working days from the date of receiving complete application for electronic visas and visa fee.  

- Subjects of application: Agencies, organizations which invite and sponsor foreigners who are citizens of countries on the list of pilot issuance of electronic visas.  

- Competent authorities: Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security.  

- Results of administrative procedures: electronic visas.  

- Fees (if any): $ 25 / an electronic visa.  

- Name application forms (if any): Vietnamese electronic visa application form (Form No. 01 in accordance with Decree No. 07/2017 / NĐ-CP dated January 25, 2017 of the Government).  

- Eligible Requirements (if any): 

+ Agencies, organizations in Vietnam that invite or sponsor foreigners must have an e-account as prescribed in Clause 2 Article 5 of the Government's Decree No. 07/2017 / NĐ-CP dated January 25, 2017 prescribing the order and procedures for pilot issuance of electronic visas to foreigners entering Vietnam and have electronic signatures in accordance with the Law on Electronic Transactions and guiding documents.

+ Foreigners who are citizens of countries on the list of pilot issuance of electronic visas must have passports and do not fall into the cases of entry suspension as prescribed in Article 21 of Law on foreigners’ entry into, exit from and transit through, residence in Vietnam.

+ Law on electronic transactions dated November 29^th, 2005;

+ Resolution No. 30/2016 / QH14 dated 22/11/2016 of the XIV National Assembly on pilot issuance of electronic visas to foreigners entering Vietnam;

+ Decree No. 07/2017 / NĐ-CP of the Government dated January 25^th, 2017 prescribing the order and procedures for pilot electronic visa issuance to foreigners entering Vietnam;

         + Circular No. 219/2016/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance dated October 11^th, 2016 stipulating collection, payment, management and use of fees in the field of exit, entry transit, residence in Vietnam./.
